SUMMER ART RELEASE

Although it hasn't been the most inspiring, sunny and beautiful Cornish Summer with crystal clear waters that we all hoped for - there's been some fulfilling moments and really fun projects I've been working on. I am excited to share new available artworks and some of my latest commissions.

She wanted light blues and turquoise with warm golden sandy sections, hints of warm yellow and "white-water" details. This one was an absolute joy to create and is on its way to The Netherlands.

Cornwall, 2023 Swipe or tap arrow to view all images A mutual friend commissioned this spicy mini for another friend who I swear LIVES in the sea; the brief was "deep, dark, with a hint of pink." As this friend is also a lover of heavy music, I couldn't help but think "Metal Mermaid," haha.

Now, onto the available artworks. You guys nearly emptied my online store during my birthday sale at the end of June! It felt so satisfying to send out all the artworks, meet some of you in person and receive your messages and pictures of the art in your homes. I cannot tell you how happy this makes me.

It has also been very refreshing to have such an empty studio. I always love starting fresh with new works for my shop and simultaneously begin a bunch of interesting custom orders.

Our late Spring was all about beach BBQs with friends and family, feeling salty from the morning 'till the evening and exploring semi-secret spots; it was a promising start to the best season.

Unfortunately, days like those have been rare lately. Don't get me wrong, we've savoured the occasional sunny day and good waves! But overall, as a self-proclaimed solar-powered human, this recent sad excuse for a "Summer" has made it a bit challenging to feel inspired by my direct surroundings. "A hundred shades of grey skies with crappy waves and strong wind" isn't really my vibe, as you already know.

That's why I took a walk down memory lane and allowed the visions of more colourful times flood my mind to create these new works.

Funnily enough, the sun is finally peeking through as I write this.

Time for a splash in the sea.

I've got eight 30cm minis, one 50cm circle and a 70cm circle for you.

Each piece has white edges and is ready to display upon delivery.
